The Faculty of Computers and Information – Ain Shams University extends its sincere congratulations to its graduate, Abdelrahman Adel Atta Mohamed El-Bahrawy, Class of 2025, Information Systems Program, on his official selection to represent Egypt and Ain Shams University at the global finals of the Huawei ICT Competition Global Finals, which will be held in China this coming June.
The student was selected after a highly competitive process in one of the world’s largest competitions in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Organized annually by Huawei Technologies, the competition aims to develop technical skills, foster innovation, and promote knowledge exchange among students from around the world.
The Huawei ICT Competition is considered one of the most prestigious international competitions in the fields of Cloud Computing, Networking, Computing, and Innovation. Each year, hundreds of thousands of students from more than 100 countries participate under the support of the global skills academy affiliated with UNESCO.
This qualification comes as part of the efforts of the Huawei ICT Academy at the Faculty of Computers and Information – Ain Shams University, under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of the University, Prof. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty, and under the supervision of Dr. Mona Abdel Azim, Director of the Faculty’s Alumni Unit. The academy works to equip students and graduates with modern technological skills and provide training and support for participation in specialized international competitions.
Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, emphasized that this distinguished global achievement reflects the advanced level of the faculty’s students and graduates and their ability to compete strongly on the international stage. She also stressed the faculty’s continued commitment to supporting its students in developing their technical and innovative skills, contributing to the preparation of qualified digital professionals capable of meeting the demands of the global labor market and supporting the country’s direction toward digital transformation and the building of a knowledge-based society.
This achievement reflects the success of the faculty’s strategy in preparing highly qualified digital talents capable of competing and excelling globally, in support of digital transformation and the goals of Egypt Vision 2030 toward building a knowledge society.
