The Faculty of Computers and Information – Ain Shams University achieved a remarkable accomplishment during its participation in the 26th edition of the AZEX’26 Engineering Applications Exhibition, which was held on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the Al-Azhar Conference Center, amid strong competition featuring more than 150 projects from 18 universities.
The participation came under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Diaa Zain El-Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University; Prof. Rami Maher Ghali, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; and Prof. Rasha Mohamed Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information. The event was supervised by Prof. Sherine Radi, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development; Assistant Professor Yasmin Afifi, Head of the Student Activities Unit; Dr. Hanan Hendy, Coordinator of the International Degree and International Students Unit; and Assistant Lecturer Yomna Ahmed Ibrahim Shehata from the Computer Science Department.
The Faculty participated with 26 distinguished projects through the RoboTech student team, in addition to the graduation project “iVision” presented by fourth-year students. The projects received wide praise from attendees for reflecting an advanced technical level.
