Innovative Researchers 2025

As part of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University's commitment to consolidating its pioneering role in supporting scientific research and encouraging creativity and innovation among researchers, and its ongoing efforts to create a stimulating academic environment aligned with the goals of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030, the faculty organized the "Innovative Researchers 2025" competition. Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty, and organized by the Faculty's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit (FCIS I-Club), the competition aims to create a competitive, creative environment for researchers and encourage them to adopt innovative ideas that solve societal problems and contribute to the labor market and industry. The competition adopted several tracks aimed at achieving the strategic goals of the faculty and university and consolidating sustainable development goals in the field of scientific research and innovation. The final events of the competition were held to select the winners, and we extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the judges for their efforts in discussing and providing guidance to all teams. • First place went to the "LRAVI" project by researchers Mohamed Gasser and Mohamed Ahmed Shaker
• Second place went to the "Detect and Classify Neuro Oncology Us" project by researcher Salma Mustafa, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sayed El-Harbity, Prof. Dr. Abeer Mahmoud, and Dr. Salsabil Amin
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the other participants who qualified for the final stage for their commendable efforts
• Researcher Heba Gamal Ahmed for her project "Communication Obstacles Removal for Impaired People" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hala Mushir, Prof. Dr. Safaa Amin, and Dr. Dina Mohamed
• Researcher Hesham Ayman for her project "A Federated Learning" "Model for Efficient Sentiment Analysis" Supervised by: Prof. Dr. Walaa Gad, Dr. Yasmine Afifi, Dr. Shaimaa Haridy
• Researcher: Mohamed Bakhit, "Applying Green AI for Smart Grid Management" Project Supervised by: Prof. Dr. Howayda Shedid, Dr. Mariam Al-Bari, Dr. Hanan Ahmed
