The Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University made an outstanding and impactful contribution to the fifth edition of the ASU Career Expo 2026, as part of its commitment to bridging the gap between educational outcomes and labor market requirements, and enhancing employment opportunities for its graduates.
The faculty’s participation was marked by a strong presence of both academic staff and students, along with a vital role in organizing and managing the event. Faculty members and students collaboratively developed and operated a fully integrated electronic system to manage the expo’s activities, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen, President of Ain Shams University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty.
This system included an advanced digital platform for managing registration and attendance, organizing entry through QR code technology, and handling job applications submitted to participating companies. It also facilitated the scheduling of workshops and sessions, and provided smart dashboards to support organizers in monitoring event progress and making informed decisions. In addition, the system delivered real-time analytics and accurate statistics, enabling efficient event management, seamless registration for thousands of participants, and effective on-the-spot decision-making.
In this context, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain El Abedeen expressed his appreciation and gratitude to the faculty in the presence of Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Konsowa, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo. He praised the faculty’s distinguished efforts and its effective role in the success of the expo, which reflects the university’s prestige and leadership.
This achievement highlights the faculty’s ability to leverage its academic and research expertise to deliver advanced technological solutions that support digital transformation and serve both the academic and industrial communities.
