The Faculty of Computers and Information – Ain Shams University has achieved second place in the Agricultural Robotics category at the Robotics Championship, in a distinguished accomplishment that reflects the Faculty students’ scientific and technological capabilities and their skills in utilizing modern technologies, artificial intelligence, and robotics to develop innovative solutions that serve society and address future needs.
The achievement came amid strong competition, with the participation of 30 student teams representing more than 10 Egyptian universities. The Faculty’s team successfully secured second place, demonstrating the ability of Ain Shams students to compete and excel in scientific and technological events.
In this regard, Prof. Dr. Rasha Ismail, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information – Ain Shams University, extends her sincere congratulations to the Faculty’s students and participating team, expressing her pride in this achievement, which embodies the spirit of innovation and teamwork and reflects the Faculty’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire to real-world technological projects.
This achievement is the result of the students’ dedication and teamwork throughout the various stages of preparing and developing the agricultural robot project, under the supervision of Dr. Randa Mohamed, Lecturer at the Department of Computer Systems.
